Training Academy Celebrates the Graduation of Law Enforcement Class 7

Hampstead, Carroll County, Maryland; March 28, 2024 — The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is elated to announce the successful graduation of 11 new law enforcement officers from CCSO Training Academy Class 7.

The rigorous training for Law Enforcement Class 7 commenced on September 14th, 2023, bringing together recruits from various law enforcement agencies including the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Laurel Police Department, the Sykesville Police Department, and the Westminster Police Department. After months of intense preparation and dedication, the graduation ceremony took place on Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at the Training Academy, situated at the former North Carroll High School, now known as the Coppermine Pantherplex.

The graduating officers from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office include Deputy Joseph Geary, Deputy Mackenzie Hauffman, Deputy Tyler Jones, Deputy Hunter Leese, Deputy Dallas Plank, Deputy Brandon Scott, and Deputy Collin Snyder. Their successful completion of the program showcases their commitment to upholding law and order in the community, embodying the values and skills instilled during their training.

As these newly graduated officers embark on their law enforcement careers, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office extends its congratulations and wishes them success and safety in their noble service to the community.
