Storms wreak havoc on Carroll County
Storms bursted through Carroll leaving a path of destruction across the county.
The heavy winds knocked down a series of electrical poles off of Rt. 140 in Westminster. Several vehicles were trapped under the poles. No injuries have been reported.
Telephone poles were also reported down on Rt. 97 by the airport.
Reports of trees fallen across the county. Here a Carroll County resident reported several trees down on Rt. 32 in Sykesville.
Another resident reported trees down in Oakmont Greens in Hampstead.
Various reports of tornadoes touching down across the county have been reported on social media but not yet confirmed.
